Built in Sheffield for students who want to climb more, train together, and compete hard.
Who We Are
Indoor & Competitions is the indoor climbing and competition branch within University of Sheffield Mountaineering & Climbing Club (USMC). We run social sessions open to all levels, structured training, and a full competition programme with a pathway from complete novice to elite competitor.
Following a restructuring agreed with the SU, we have our own membership, sessions, and independent programme — giving us the scope to run sessions every day of the week, apply for Sport Sheffield coaching funding, and manage our own finances, all while remaining part of the broader USMC community.
Whether you are after a casual social boulder or chasing a podium at BUCS, there is a place for you here.
